It’s time we questioned the true priorities of the CCLA, since they seem to exhibit major selective bias when it comes to who they will support.  Certainly they appear not interested in supporting the civil liberties of senior drivers…the very ones whose sacrifice made it possible for them to be free to exist in the first place.

The MTO provided funding to Traffic Injury Research Foundation, of 171 Nepean St., Suite 200, Ottawa , Ontario, to do a Meta-Analysis of Cognitive Screening Tools For Drivers 80 years old , or older.  But because the MTO can’t stand by the results, it posted a disclaimer, although it continues to force seniors into humiliating, unreliable testing at significant cost to the senior.     Continue reading Ontario Minister of Transportation: Can’t support the tests, but uses them to abuse senior drivers! →
